Nando, how big do you think I can upscale this without sacrificing resolution?

I don't recommend 1:1 unless you want the FBI and Counter Terrorism knocking on your door...

I agree with cMags that 1:1 isn't a good choice, although it could be possible to upscale the model without any problem with resolution.
I didn't try to print on A3 sheet the model, but here You can see a compare I did between the pdf file of Little Boy at 841% zoom and the pdf file of my Sopwith Swallow at the same enlargement. The Little Boy pdf is generated from Inkscape and owns the native vectorial format, while the Swallow's pdf is derived from an image file (jpg). I indeed choose to use Inkscape to obtain a scalable model.

Till now Jonathan kindly hosted my designs on the Lower Hudson e-Gift shop. I don't know where I will share the model at this moment. I spent lots of money on ink and documentation and sooner or later I should try to collect some money. I don't know

The Tsar Bomb is ugly, huge, rough, a pure exercise of power and force without any sense, but what has it sense in this field? I prefer complete the Tinian couple, may be with the original trailer.

Here some pics of the dolly in progress

Best, Nando

Hi Nando, a very interesting historical subject and an intriguing process to see and follow. You really do a great job. I especially liked those rivets on the prototype. You used a hollow punch? And now I am on the subject of tools, that tool you used with the rings, what was that for? Can you make flat rings get slightly curved with it?
*curious*

Nando, ask Chris to offer the model for sale at ECard. I, for one, have no problem paying a few bucks to help support your work!

In fact, if you have a Paypal account, I'll send you $5 straight away for the file as is!

As You can see I usually use many tools to punch, but for the rivets I used the solide ones. I don't know if i'll put rivets in the final model, because I didn't find till now a good paper to punch. The result on the colored bomb is far away from the result on the white prototype: white on white conceals the fault.
With the rings I used the dapping punch tools. They are used in jewelry and are useful in deep-drawing the precious metal. I usually use them to form the rings slightly curved, but very slightly otherwise You deform the ring and it doesn't fit more. In the pic below You can see how I used them in the process of forming the sphere of the Vostok. You can Google images for "dapping punch set", and You can find a lot of them.
