McDonnell CF-101B Voodoo 1:33
Hello to everybody!
I will introduce my latest Papermodel - the mighty CF-101B Voodoo. I've started to design this model more than 2 years ago but never really finished. Last year in summer i decided, that this famous aircraft needs to be released. And here it is. The design is from the 416 "Lynx" Squadron flown in Canada. Why #045? Beause i'm 45 The final model kit will also include some seperate parts as the main and front gear, nozzels and the whole rear of the fuselage on silver paper. In march IPMS Austria will release this model during the GoMo 2012 from 10. - 11. March (it's a small exibition in Vienna). Here is some information Greets from Austria walter |

An excellent model. The treatment of the nose contours looks especially well done.

I have to say WOW as well! This has got to be the best looking paper Voodoo I've ever seen. If I hadn't looked closely, I would have thought it was Monogram's p*****c version. In 1:33 and Canadian markings too, it doesn't get much better than that.

Wonderful model! It seems that you found the optimal solution on how to make all these courves! The Voodoo is one of my favorite jets.
Will there be more color shemes? |

Woohoo! That is one excellent looking model. I would love to have it; even though it looks to be outside my abilities. I do hope the model comes with a genie rocket!
We have a nice Voodoo here in Winnipeg too, at the Western Canada Aviation Museum. |

Thank you all!
@thorst: There will be only the Canadian colour scheme. This model was one of the hardest to design. I've changed the rear part of the fuselage more than 10 times. But the final result lookes really good. If somebody is interested in my construction report THIS is it (unfortunately only in german) The report starts in April 2011 - at this time the model was half finished. But for all friends of camouflaged classic planes HERE is one of my next projects. No need to introduce this one :-) It will wear the Vietnam camouflage of the 27 TFW/524 TFS. And of course a Thunderbird version - what else. Maybe the complete 1966 team (my year of birth) Greetings walter Last edited by waltair; 02-14-2012 at 03:44 PM.
