reduce the scratch metal by painting in flat colors of original blue camo,.. then copy the mask so same distress shows up,.. and lower the opacity so some texture shows through

you can do this with aircraft instruction stencils too,..

it can also be used for nose art as well,..
if you cant find any free brushes or buy any of these brushes, you can also make your own,.. thats coming next,.. possibly tomorrow

the yellow stencil I borrowed from ken L Wests X-15 I purchased a while back ( wickedly awesome model I might add),.. also still trying to find the courage to build it,..

I like your "brushwork", you produced some highly realistic wear!

I love custom Photoshop brushes! They are not difficult to make, and can produce complex effects very quickly and easily.

awesome! thanks! A few more are coming with minimal use of bushes,.. and using channels as a main source,.. of distressing
