Fold up Infantry

These are some simple infantry figures I've been experimenting with, done is MS Paint and Paint.Net. Everything should print out to 1/72 scale, which is 25mm scale I believe, but who can tell really? Once I finish some commisions I'm going to finish the prototypes.

You've really put some work into those. Do you strictly do military gaming?

No actually. I'm also going to do some figures for a GURPS fantasy campaign I'm going to run. They'll be about twice this size, 1inch/1yard.

25mm x 72 = 1800mm

1 inch = 25.4mm

1800mm/25.4mm = 70.9 inches or 5' 10.9"

Thus, a 25mm figure in 1/72 scale represents a man who is 5' 10.9" tall.

Sounds right, I was more refering to the way plastic miniatures are made. I've seen "25mm" figures that are 32mm tall from head to toe... The male figure is 94px tall, so when printed he'll be just slightly less then 25mm from head to toe.

I know what you mean.

Plastic Soldier Review seems to include figures between 20mm to 30mm in their reviews of 1/72 scale figures.

See:
Plastic Soldier Review - Airfix Russian Infantry

For example, they show the average height of Airfix Russians as 23mm.

True in the most literal sense, but there are an awful lot of gamers out there that I'm not going to argue with.

Nice! These remind me of the paper miniatures on the Junior General site-
