G.I. Joe-V.A.M.P. and M.M.S.

Yet another project to distract me from finishing other ones.

This time it's the Multi-purpose attack vehicle and towable mobile missile system from the G.I. Joe toy line. For the Vamp the wheels will roll and the gun turns and pivots. On the MMS the wheels roll and the missile launcher turns and pivots as well. My first model that has been redrawn in Inkscape so obviously being that its in a vector format it can be resized to any desired scale and not lose detail. Currently the templates for the Vamp are ready to go just spending the weekend finishing the instructions and test building to have ready to release by Monday. Attached are a few sample pages. The instructions I have attached are not the final instructions just a test as it's my first real instructions to make.

Thanks for the posts guys! I always wanted these toys as a kid but was just too hard to find in our area. We did'nt have any toy stores or even Wal-mart till the mid 1990's so by then I was grown and had lost interest. Now that I have little boys myself i find that all these shows I watched and toys I had or wanted when I was a child holds alot more meaning for me. I get a lot of enjoyment sharing these things with my boys as well as anyone else who may get some enjoyment out of any models I make.

Was going to spend the day fishing with the boys but the youngest woke up sick this morning, so it looks like a day of tending to a sick kid and some model building in between. Will post some build progress pics later today.
