Tail #3

I glued the fins at the body, while the other parts of the tail are loose.
Now I have to align all parts for put them in the right position and shape.
I'm thinking at some jig, like Merzo usually does ... . I'll see.
In the mean time the result is good enough, I think ...
Here some pics

In the other side, i'm updating the sheets

... and I'm drawing the first schema of the body's parts.

In the schema, the letters in the labels indicate the sheet and the numbers indicate the parts. A question: do you think that this kind of schema it's clear enough and useful? Your opinion is important.

Thanks, Nando

Tail #4

I elaborated this jig for correctly positioning the parts inside the tail.

but it seems to me that someone is not very happy with the solution ...

Wow, Nando- once again excellent project!

The diagram of how parts go together would work for me.

Was wondering how the jig worked, looks like it adds the correct angles and fin alignment.

Superb, nando!

The diagram seems more than adequate to illustrate the assembly...looks great to me!

Looking forward to seeing more!

Cheers!

Bomb completed!

Gluing of the Yagi antennas has completed the bomb.
The intricate tail's plates went together very well and i'm satisfied for the final result. Some pics

Hence the almost final version of the model of the bomb

Next the trailer ...

I know that I'm not speedy in making my projects, but I can rely on your patience ...

Best, Nando

Great job, Nando! Just like Little Boy this one too, really is a great rendition of something really historical. My compliments.

Wheels ...

Now the three remnant wheels ...

The last one step by step

First I glued the ring inside

Then the edge outside

How to center the ring inside

The bolts

All the four wheels completed-

And the "how-to" diagram on the sheet.

More to come.
Best, Nando
