Tyrannosaurus rex WIP

Hi I just wanted to share a project. I always wanted to make a good t Rex model so I started to design my own. Since I have been making a lot of texture less models of late choosing different paper colors instead. I wanted to try another technique. I decided to build the model blank and painting it with pastels.This is what I have so far.

The model is completely modeled and unfolded and I'm in the process of building the first prototype. I started with the head which is the hardest part along with the arms and hands. I also gave it the first past with the pastel colors to see if it was even possible. I think it will be. Sorry for the quality of the pics. The first pic shows the different parts clearly 159 of them. The model will be roughly half a meter long. I plan to make a bunch of them to scale, probably the triceratops will be next, I'll keep you posted. Thanks for checking them out.

WOW this is so COOL! I have allways wanted a good T-Rex model...Cannon has one but it's a simple model and not at all real looking. Please tell me your going to make the available....say yes...say yes....Rich

Did you need to add some stuffing or internal structures?

That thing is really cool! I really like the accuracy; both in terms of the overall proportions and the fact (s)he's not dragging his tail like in some Harryhausen film. I can't wait to see it done!
