WDI Chance Vought RegulusII 1-33

Hello all.
I submit for your opinions my 1-33 scale of the Regulus II , a late 50's NAVY bid for a Mach2 Sub launched cruise missile that got cut short by the development of the SLBM.

I know of only one other paper model version of this missile by Hobby Model and I'm not wholly impressed by it so I decided to make my own.

3 builds and about 2 months later, I am satisfied enough to show what I have come up with.
77 parts on 7 pages with formers and glue on tabs. I would rate this as a 2/5 for hardness. I'd like to see about having this and a few variants for sale over at Ecardmodels but I need to find out what exactly needs to be done to do so..

Pictures are of the three builds: Beta , Final Navy Test and Alpha build. Not much changed externally expect for some panel lines. most of the changes happen inside to help making building easier.

That's for now. Possible next model Ryan Firebee. Thanks to all who look and comment

Nice, but i wonder if this early cruise missle ever mad it to th Fleet? I think the guided missle cruiser Long Beach may have carried them but I'm not very certain of it.

Certainly a very neat model of an unusual subject, and very neat looking, a fine job well done.

I can almost imagine a deck-scene diorama of preparing one of these models for launching.

Kind and Respectful Regards SMWulph, Uyraell.
