Renault R-35 (1/72)
Some of you may remember that a couple years ago I started on a project to design a model of the small Renault R-35 tank. After loosing motivation for a while, I've finally gotten it to a build-able state.
It's intended for a wargamer/casual builder audience, so I took some artistic liberties to keep the build time within a reasonable limit. The suspension and tracks have a bit of layering, but shouldn't be too challenging. As you can see, the hull has been simplified, but still retains some of the prototype's shape. I'm not completely satified with the overall colloring. I think I need to go a few shades lighter on the green, and more faded for the yellow. Anyway, while I'm doing those tweaks, if anyone would like to do a beta build, send me a PM. Eventually I will be posting it in the downloads section. |

Great choice and as Zakopious says, it's a rare bird in this scale. I'm looking forward to trying this one. Thank you!
