Skyline B767 (1/72)

Hey folks! The sales of my DC-9 kit have been pretty strong through the holidays, so I've decided my next release will be a Boeing 767-300 depicted in 1/72 scale. The kit is still only a few days into development, and here are some rough drafts:

The kit will be about 30 inches long when complete. I'm lucky to be on vacation right now ( for once! ) so hopefully I'll be able to keep up the momentum and bang this kit out. Thanks for your interest and your continuing support!

That is a great news!

I was also considering B-767, but no time to do that:-(
I am glad that you found a good scale drawings as to get any is a real pain.

All the best!

Yep! Lots of big parts; many of which will barely fit on the page. I like designing these kinds of kits because they provide a lot of "canvas" to put lots of detail on, without any complex geometry.

Looking forward to this. Any thoughts on doing the AWACS (E-767) version?

I'm not ruling out any military versions of the jet, but I've got a few civil versions planned first.

Primary Modeling Complete

Alright, all of the principle geometry and modeling are done; here are some detail pics of the engines and landing gear...

Now to the fun part, unfolding and detailing!

I'd love to, but KLM will cost me about $2,000 USD to license with them. My first will be a Martinair version, then it's up in the air what next.
