North American F-100D Super Sabre

After a long time away - trying to design a Short Skyvan - i'm back with some real classic plane - the mighty Hun.

I've started this project one year ago. The fuselage, wings and parts of the cockpit are almost finished.

The picture shows an early version.

Nice work. You've got the unique profile of the nose done real well.

@loui: the cockpit is - let's call it "advanced". not really simple but far away from the detailed cockpit made by halinsky.

this is the current status

A very good choice. What colour scheme? Odd that it has been not been done before.

I'll take Vietnam colour scheme from the 27 TFW/524 TFS, Tailcode CD.

And of course the Thunderbirds colour scheme. Probably with the names of the 1967 team.

Can't wait. I grew up with the New Mexico ANG, which were in Nam during the later '60's early '70's.

On sunday i designed the ejection seat. This is the most detailed seat i've ever made. But far away from the Halinsky MiG-29 seat which is a real masterpiece.

It is looking great, I'm looking forward to seeing this. What scale will it be?

Thanks,
Gary
