German Sm XXVIIB Seehund

I started the drawings of the german midget submarine (1/25 scale), but, I have a lot of difficulties.
In taking into consideration the pictures of the exposed survivors, I noted large differences between them:
the largest, relate to the shape of the keel and rudder, to height and shape of the turret, both as regards the side views, both as regards the top view.
Of all these, the most peculiar is exhibited in France in Brest, I believe it is so because it has been used, after the war, by the French Navy and modified to the needs.
But also those exposed in Germany, Netherlands and the United States, show significant differences.

I ask the help of someone who knows the subject

bye matt77

I've seen the threads about the model of GPM, I must say that is particularly badly drawn

Have you seen this site?

Seehund - One35th present the German midget submarine - Operations and History

I don't know if it answers some of your questions, but it seems to be a nice starting point. I'll look through my (and my fathers) bookshelf, if I find something useful I'll let you know.

Hi Thorst.

Well met,
in principle, the three-dimensional drawing is finished, they are not very happy with the result, and, I want to change some portions of the hull, which means redesigning some ribs,...... I just have to find the will to do so!

soon, matt77
