I'll post a few in the Alan Rose recolour threads. I'll put the link here when I do.

Jim,

So this is what has been keeping you so quiet lately.

Mind-blowing. We will see your Alan Rose at this month’s IPMS meeting
before you donate it away?

Bob

Gentlemen,

It's a long story involving a lot of time, effort and a big portion of stupidity. I finished the prototype build and was working on the parts layout and had the model about 98% finished. I also had made provision for lighting the interior. When finishing up the model I was keeping the files saved on my work laptop which were duplicated to storage on the company server. The company server went down and corrupted a lot of the stored files. When I booted up my laptop the server replaced the laptop files with the corrupted server files. . . . . I did learn that digital files are never safe.

I have recovered a good portion of the later working files and have lately found printed copies of some the finial model pages. looks like a few weeks work barring complications. the big issue is scanning and reworking the printed pages I found. I just may finish this project.
