Suggestions.

Can anyone suggest any models I could design...
Preferably it would't have too many curves on it. Because I am only a beginner designer.

Is there a particular scale that you would like me to design in?

Well, how about 1/72 or 1/48? Let me know if there is anything I can do to help.

Thanks,
Gary

Unfortunately the printer has given up, So I won't be able to scan or print. But I found a model of the Arrow...
1/72 Avro Arrow Paper Model
I hope this model will make up for the printer.

I never thought I would say this when I started card modeling years ago, BUT it really is getting harder to find model that haven't been already designed.

If you want to start designing, my suggestion would be to pick out a plane that you are very familiar with and start with that.

Scale would be what your are comfortable with, just remember that the larger the scale the more sheet involved with recoloring, printing, etc.........

Stick with the major scales, 1/72, 1/48, 1/32........... IMO 1/48 is easier to build so therefor it's my favorite.

Believe me when I say, whatever you design as long as its free there will be a market for it!

Also remember that this is a very, very helpful community. Any questions, and/or requests usually are answered very quickly and fully.

john

And it goes without saying.............. if I can help just give a shout!

Would you consider a subject other than aircraft. This M1921 Christie tank might be a good candidate. Mostly flat surfaces, no turret. A good 3-way drawing can be found here: Fájl:M1921 Christie tervrajz.jpg - Wikipédia

Send a message via Yahoo to ultra
well something a bit weird a Steyr AUG it has curves but not too complicated to duplicate as a 3d model nothing a smooth modifier can't handle
