Thanks everyone for the encouragement.
I imagine this would make a decent RC model. Here is a link to someone’s project utilizing the Fiddlers Green B-17 (of which mine is a direct decedent) to a foam RC model. It looks like it turns out rather well. The Fiddlers Green B-17 has oversized engine nacelles which I guess would be handy for the electric motors. http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?t=929843 Here is another photo of the test build from the other side that I meant to post earlier. Sorry for the quality of the photos. This thing is pretty big and it is hard to find a large enough open space to photograph it. I was planning to take it outside but the weather kind of got in the way of that. When I can I’ll try to take some better pictures.
