here is a little snippet of my tracings,.. these images posted are not to scale but merely just screen captures of the side view and bulkhead drawings to show how fairly accurate the tracings are,..
in the middle attachment it looks like the stations dont line up with the drawings,.. BUT thats okay because on the side view drawings it is showing you the ship compartments not the positions of the stations,.. I will also be doubling up on station 19 so the lower deck has something to rest on up against that small bulkhead,.. or I may signify on the 19 piece to add a strip of balsa or card to make a ledge,.. but that detail can come later,..right now its fun to be drawing,.. comments welcome,.. more tracing and drawing to continue Last edited by HMCS; 03-02-2009 at 11:02 PM. |

I will spend the next few days drawing,.. then post finished bulkheads, centerline, and top deck,..(without artwork applied mind you) then I will work on the hull sheeting,.. found a great website of this guys battleship papermodel build and the work on the hull was most impressive,.. I think I will copy his technique for sheeting! will post his link tonight |
