French Latécoère 26 -Aéropostale Mailplane-

Hi everyone
I would like to present my new designed airplane
The Laté26 nicknammed "the truck"(Le camion)
For his robust and simple construction, and also his ability to land on roug airfield or sometimes only openfield.
Was used on the line from Paris to Santiago over Spain,Marocco,Sahara, AOF,
Brazil,Argentina,
Argentina postal service bought some to be operate by the own postal service but i have very few informmation about and no detail for the livery
If someone form south america want share his knowledge i will be glad
.

Thank you very much, MonsieurE. This is a welcome addition. I found a list of the 29 aircraft flown by Antoine de Saint Exupery (See A new musical, and musings about an aeronautical hero.) The Lat 26 was one of them - this brings to a total of 9 of the 29 that have been recreated as models.

St Ex is a legend
There is also Mermoz and Guillaumet flown on this airplane and a lot of less famous heroes of Aeropostale aventure.

I went to the site and realised that this is a design thread. When I saw the the first pictures my imminent thought was that why the designer had left out the prominent exhaust 'horn'. Now I know it will appear in the final kit. Very nice and clean work here - I love these early workhorses too.

Hi yes it will have the exhaust at top of the engine will can be complete or short like on this proto preview:

Glad to see you work in another awesome project!

In really Aeroposta Argentina used a Late 25 is a only preserved in the world in a Museum. The plane used french registry but the logo in spanish. I choose many pics to help you.

The second one is very usefull
There is not a big difference between Lat 25 an 26 only the central main body,
they both share same architecture.
