Thanks Elliott, and here it is
As my vacation and vacation-project comes to an end, I shall revise the 3 goals that I gave to myself at the beginning: 1) To design and build "fast" project. 2) To improve texturing skills. 3) To test scroll-saw. Must admit I'm only succeed with 2 of them. The scroll saw works perfectly, it saves much time and effort. Big thanks to Eric I've managed to produce a bit more advances textures. However I'm not very satisfied with my design itself. About 80% of formers were either useless or had to be redesigned. The windshield look stupid and build also was bit too complicated for simple such model. As for final issue I'm not sure... obviously design needs a lot of things to be revised and corrected, there's a mess with Inksape files too. By now I have to return to Canberra's project and make some decent progress, but I hope HE-343 shall not be forgotten Here's my attempt to make "vintage" pictures

Beautiful model!
RE: canopy They look fine. Also, since canopy has plenty of segments -- I think you can convert it to a clear canopy without having to resort to vacuforming. Then you can add internal details to the cockpit. RE: 80% of formers useless or re-designed That's an expected outcome for a first build. And if you add details to the cockpit, then you'll be able to discard some more formers as well. |

Nice outcome. I'm sure this was a good learning experience for you as well.
You can go over the design and decide what to improve. One suggestion is to add more sections to the engine nacelles. You need that to add more realism to the curvature. Also, adding a cockpit interior should be a great improvement. You can use an Arado 234 as your baseline for the cockpit. Clear nose/canopy will also add to it, but that can be done separately. Regards Isaac

Just wanted to refresh your thread and see if you can make your kit available to me/us by uploading it here. It would make a great addition to my 1/48 scale Luft 46 fleet I am building now.
A simple pdf file will do. Thanks Isaac

Nice design!
I thought you design only ships. I should have asked you for designing my planes missiles. Designing is not my own turf. Yu |
