Remember when Bus Stations, and Train Stations, (and Airports)
were romantic places...beautiful architecture...spacious and wonderous buildings where you set off on great adventures!....? You got all dressed up...and bought souvenirs and sent postcards... What happened?

they are restoring this one and there opening back up as bus station. We drive by it every day taking my son to and from school.

The 80's happened I think. Companies more interested in finance than in romance.

I'd say more like the late 60's - early 70's. Took a couple of Greyhound and Trailways trips and the stations were already getting that down-at-the-heels, tired look.
