Thanks!

John's Soviet craft always looked good and I'm absolutely enamoured with 1:144 scale. Whole new cosmos of cuteness.

Putting the Soyuzez together now. Can't decide whether to put one vertically under GDW and one horizontally docked to "Bohemia" or put both horizontally on GWD to form a cross with the base modules.

Also, this kind of mian docking node makes little sense - in case of emergency there would be up to 6 people crowding GWD to board the Soyuzes.

Which, in fact, might be a part of a plot in the book...

Hi guys!

Great thank for all those kind words. Here is "Europe" model in the final configuration with two Soyuz type ferries docked at GWD.

Thanks for all the support!

Damn. I realised I never released the model... Will have to introduce the changes I worked on in the Salyut / Almaz series and then release it.

Hi guys. I decided to redo the model before release and make some slight changes to it. I changed the panels a bit, added radiators and more antennas.

So here goes...

So here goes Mazovia (Polish base module) with Der Kran (German robotic arm) with the new docking node similar to the Mir / ISS one.

Here's a detail of the robotic arm.

And here's Mazovia again.

This is the Czechoslovak base module Bohemia docked to Mazovia

And Bohemia front port detail - it has been refitted with APAS node to dock Burans (and possibly Chinese craft too).

Coming up next: soviet Baikal laboratory and Hungarian Panonia laboratory, as well as the Multiuse Cargo Modules (totally new) and the crewed Soyuz crafts. The MCM and Soyuzes will utilize magnetic docking nodes for easy attachment and removal on the model. Got some cringe though on how to turn APAS magnetic :D

Hope those changes are good.
