1/64 Bayverse Ironhide

I've been working on this the past few days, and I thought I'd share it It's a 1/64 scale (Hot Wheels size) Transformers Ironhide in vehicle mode:

I still need to make some adjustments to the front bumper and fender area but other than that, most of the model is done (from a 3D modeling standpoint, anyway). I was trying to think of a way to make the box look less "chunky", but with the tires flush against the fenders I couldn't think of a way to do it; hopefully the black body will make it less noticeable. The tires can be built either 2D or 3D (3D is shown ).

Nice work Heather! I particularly like the progression shot in the first pic, watching it grow, so to speak.

The 3D model is done being adjusted now (barring any weird problems when I put it together) and quite a bit of texturing is done, but there's still some to go:

The photo textures won't be staying (Inkscape resizes to 90dpi, and the details don't show up at 1/64 anyway), and if you think the grays look a little light, it's because they are... At my local print shop, anything darker than 70% gray looks black, and it isn't distinguishable on paper. But at 70%, the bumpers should look nice and dark when printed

Made a little more progress today

This is 100% why I prefer laser printers to inkjet:

Laser on 80# gloss cover on the left, inkjet on 110# card on the right. The laser one is ready to build

Finally got the template posted: http://drive.google.com/file/d/0B07v...ew?usp=sharing

As usual, Google Docs makes it look weird... ^^;
