we were escorted by Santissimia out from Puerto Madryn on 19th jne 1982 after landed over 4000 argetine pows there from Canberra.We also saw Commodoro Py- an ex us gearing class destroyer.It our penultimate before returning to San Carlos water to pick up the royal marines and then we set sail back to the UK

The Santisima Trinidad sank two years ago in Puerto Belgrano for deficiency of maintenance. Was decommissioned in 2004.
Santisima Trinidad is the original spanish name of Buenos Aires city.
