Thats just too cool.
Canada still uses them despite the huge ratio of service to flight time because of their age. http://www.sfu.ca/casr/bg-helo-ch124-seaking.htm I worked with a former aircraft tech who referred to them as '1000's of rivets flying in formation'. lol What I find odd is how well suited these helicopters are for their use. That and the Saudi's use quite a few of them and there is a warehouse locally that refits Saudi Seakings. They come in looking like pieces of crap and go back like new machines. LOL!!! |
