How ya doin Bro?? Actually I saw something similar in a video from SIGGRAPH a few years back that Jun Mitani (Creator of Pepakura) was working on. (Near)Instant sketch to 3D. Pretty cool stuff.

Seems pretty cool, but I found it a lot of fun to design my plushie parts by hand.
If only a program could do the sewing for me... :p
