Loyd Carrier
Hello Guys,
actually I am working on the design of an 1/72 Loyd Carrier. It will be in the TT (Tracked Towing) configuration where it pulled the 6 pdr AT- gun and was mainly used from the Normandy landings of 1944 to the end of second world war. Best greetings Harry |

First details
Hello fellow modelers,
here are some informations about my new design project. The construction of the model is mainly based on the article about the Loyd Carrier in AIRFIX magazine guide 5 page 7-9 (ISBN 0 85059 203 8 - first published April 1975), some additional inputs were taken over from the Plastic Soldier Company version of this vehicle The Plastic Soldier Company Ltd, Hard plastic miniatures for the wargamer and collector I present the building instruction (actual stage of development) and the main body of the vehicle as well as some first impressions of the running gear. While the drawings in AIRFIX magazine guide 5 is in 1/76 my model will be in 1/72 scale. Hope you enjoy it - greetings Harry |
