JohnM I would really conceder taking up the hobby of watching it but and a BIG ONE(about the size of mine)start at the very beginning other wise you'll drop off in the first one. It's a griping story line and I'm waiting for the new season to start and I'm sure your wife will get into also as my did. Just my opinion. wc

P'raps I'll rig my little TV in the conservatory back up to Sky and have a hunt for the box-set, eh? I must admit that modern CGI fantasy fiction does go over my head a bit, but I never could resist a good dragon. ... and no, I haven't built any from 'How to train your Dragon'. I did sort of enjoy the film, but I wouldn't list it as a favorite.

It's like Disney's "Pete's Dragon" ... loved the 1977 version, but not so keen on the 2016 one. I only hope the new management won't try to modernize Tinkerbell. She and her fairy gang are just perfect as they are ... don't need no extra CGI realism added. I don't think my blood pressure could handle a super realistic Vidia.

Hee hee, I got the box set for Xmas. I loved them, 'specially Vidia. She's gorgeous. I don't believe in much Sci-Fi but Fairies and Dragons are still within reason for me. No I'm not in my second childhood ... I'm on about the tenth.

Growin' old may be unavoidable, but while growin' up is still optional, I just ain't a gonna do it.

Well, just to let you know.

I'm an open source enthusiast. So I've decides to share this Drogon project on GitHub.
https://github.com/LexDias/drogon

I expect that many other open source guys share their models as well.

I'll be sharing Embraer E190-E2 soon.

Opening these projects may help many other modelers wanting to resize or recolor my models.

Best

Unfolding done!

I started a test build a week ago to check if the body could hold both wings.

Game of Thrones' Drogon-drogon-testbuild-01.jpg

As you can see, one wing looks really big!

After that, let's go the head. I think I've got what I've planned.

Here's what I've got so far

Whoa there. I'm lovin' this one. There's some serious attitude being built into this. That head is gorgeous without any textures. When finished this could become a classic.
