Game of Thrones' Drogon

Hi!

Long time, no see!

My wife keeps challenging me to design a paper version of Drogon, one of Daenerys' dragon from GoT TV series.

Well, this is a great challenge! And I don't want to disappoint her.

So, I'd like to ask you all for reference pictures and maybe a 3d model. These would help me a lot!

Thank you!

Have a look here https://www.artstation.com/artwork/mWKQ1

This guy was given a 3D low poly (should be excately what you need for paper model) model by HBO. Maybe you can get it too.

Has any one ever thought of making a paper model of the Dragon? I have no idea how hard that would be but what a beautiful model that would be. Just a passing thought. wc

I hope Claudio for this great idea. I would love to have the dragon. It would make a fantastic model and one I'm sure a lot of other would also enjoy. wc

Add me to the list of those who would like to have this one kitted and available (and not I did not say for free).

I'm with ya there Darwin. I've never watched Game of Thrones (Mainly 'cos it's not an 'er indoors sorta thing, and the TV is her territory), but I do have a thing for Dragons. If Claudio can magic this wonderful beast into paper, I'd gladly pay for the privileged of building it. It could even jump above The Frost Dragon in my 'Will build one day' pile, and could be the catalyst I need to get my sore fingers into summat more complex than Cubees again.
