Nice looking boat. Being an engine freak trying to find some info on the engine. Thought it might be a Gray Marine, but can't find any with that dual plug set up. Maybe a Hall Scott. Will keep looking, that's got my interest peaked.

Jackpot I think. Looks like a Scripps 6 cylinder marine engine which was build by the Scripps-Booth Automobile manufacturer. They also did a killer looking V-12 engine.

@whulsey:

Woah thanks!! This is fantastic! What a beautiful engine! It will be an interesting modelling project too. I think I'd like to take the time to make a nice model of it, might take a little time. I'll try to release the closed hatch version of the boat first.

Captain, you're welcome. For some more inspiration Google Lake Tahoe Wooden Boat Show.

Hey everybody!
Here is the first beta version; closed hatch only, no engine yet; Scripps V12 is in the works, open hatch version to be released later; it will have at least 2 more pages of parts for the interior and the engine.
I haven't even build it myself yet, so it might not be perfect, build at you own risk, haha.
Folder includes 3 pages of cutouts, page of instructions and a rendered 3d image to give an idea of it should look like :p

All comments and constructive criticism are welcome and may be taking into consideration for further improvement of the kit. Thanks and hope you enjoy it!

Wayne,

depending on the browser you use, download the file normally, to your local computer
then use 7zip to extract the files(you can double click on the file while in 7zip to just look at the file), or in Windows Explorer, right click on the file, select 7zip, and extract to

Thanks Rick, it worked that time so must have fat fingered something or wrong sequence. I find in W10 there's sometimes a problem with non Microsoft or Adobe softwares being recognized. Still can't get things to download directly from my Nikon camera like I used to.
Oh well, got it. looks good--but what I'm really waiting for is that Scripps V12 engine. Yummy!
