Pumpkinhead!!!
I am going to attempt to make Pumpkinhead from the movie....Pumpkinhead!
I think this one I shall try and make a boxy skeleton, then apply the shapes to the outside of this aforementioned skeleton. After that, apply the skin and finish! Simple, right? Here is the lower half of the framework...

Been a little while. Had to wrap up some other work that was taking up all my free time. Now I am back at it!
Here is the assembled skeleton layer and skull.

And here is my plan to fill out the muscles on the skeleton...
Rolling up paper tubes and attaching to the bones.

Looks like you're going for the realistic look.

Yep. Maybe I should move these threads out of Design. Other than the skeleton, I don't think it we be an actual reproduceable model. Oh well. Maybe there should be a paper sculpture category made somewhere. Anywho, here is my progress...

Finally got a chance to work on pumpkinhead a little more. I added the reticulated tail using strips of copy paper from bad prints or junk mail. I changed up a little on the arms using twisted paper strips instead of rolled paper.
Also, check out the glue bottle I can operate with one hand

I like how you are building up the basic structure. Very cool to watch. As far as the glue bottle, it is similar to what I used to do having the small 1 ounce squeeze bottle that rests upside down over a nail. The small opening of the bottle kept the glue from pouring out when you picked it up.
