First big mistake. I made the body too fat to fit clothes onto, The silhouette looks good on it's own, but I can see once the clothes are added, he will be too bulky. So I thinned down the body and limbs, but left everything the same lengths. Re-printing and re-assembling....

Here we have the body almost done! Looks like he's going to be a little over 24 inches tall. I kept most of the body pretty simple as it will be covered up by the clothes.

I apologize for the blurry image. Sometimes I just can't seem to hold the camera still enough

Thanks!!! It's another few steps to output svg files, then make the gcode files, but I'll never run out of ink as long as there is a pen around A 50 cent ink pen is much better to buy than a 26 dollar ink cartridge Even the 4 color click pen was 2 for 2 dollars.

This weekend, I used the "stuff-it" method that I learned right here on this forum, of filling the parts with toilet paper to give strength and help keep parts from collapsing. Only instead of toilet paper I used old plastic shopping bags. Toilet paper is too useful in other places to use as stuffing in my models Besides, the bags are free...

You can see here the legs and neck holes, stuffed in pretty tight. I had to cut a flap into the stomach area to add the filler, the sealed it back up. Also I decided to use aluminum foil to give strength to the ankles, as the model is significantly heavier stuffed than not. I was afraid the ankles might buckle under the extra weight.

There are also pictures of the flattened boot parts, as well as the two finished boots. I actually didn't have any more foil so i decided to quit for the night.

Seeing the silver paper in the boots got me thinking of a future project for you - put the silver on the outside of the boots and seriously stak 'em high - KISS figures ?

That would be cool! Would take me forever to make all four. Unless I quit my job

I successfully attached the feet and arms. I think the head may be too big! Well, maybe once I make the neck longer it will look better. I am positive the whole thing is 8 heads tall. That's standard human proportion...

I think it looks large because you narrowed the body to make room for the outfit over the top.

I think it probably is about right
