XCV-330 Enterprise
In the spirit of "fake NASA" ships, I am starting the XCV-330 Enterprise. I have already figured out to way to make the warp rings structurally sound and I'm working on the other details now. I've already noticed that this isn't nearly as complicated in the computer as the IXS Enterprise from earlier this year.

This will be another fascinating build thread I'm sure.

This looks like it will be an interesting model! It will make for a great addition to the "Enterprise" collection.

Take your time. It'll still be there when you're ready.

I *think* I'm done with the CG part of this project. The XCV-330 isn't nearly as complicated as the IXS Enterprise in terms of shapes and structural details. The textures are also very simple in what I have found.
I may start unfolding it soon unless I can identify some detail that is missing. |

It's been a few weeks since I posted anything, so here are some of the build photos. I'm relatively close to the end already.

You should do a design class.

I just showed this to my daughter. She now wants me to make it for her. I told her that "I will think about it."
