That looks AMAZING!!! I used some closed corner connections on the Triangle ship. It worked great.

David,
Just a suggestion. What about moving the lower seams inward, so that they sit beneath the lower engines’ fore cowlings and underbits? -J |

Here are the images I thought I had yesterday morning... and I thought there were more of them and they were of better quality. Yesterday turned into a blur.

Thales, are you using brown chipboard to create the greebles? if i may make a suggestion, hit comic shop and pick up some comic backer board its about .5mm thick and it is completely white throughout.

Excellent design work. Should be a much-anticipated model.
I keep seeing the word "greeblie" and I believe it is being misused (and overused...). What we've seen so far on this model is panel detail, which is different from "greeblie" detailing. As Wikipedia notes, the definition for greeble (aka "nurnie") is "fine detailing added to the surface of a larger object that makes it appear more complex, and therefore more visually interesting. It usually gives the audience an impression of increased scale." When Thales gets around to finer details such as plumbing, various actuators or servos or other small objects, then that will be a greeble. What we've seen so far is panel detail. |

Eh, I'm willing to be open and call the inset panels made up of extruded panels greebles of a sort. They are turning out to be non-trivial to construct. I hope you enjoy.
