Not much progress, but here are a few little detail bits. I am doing a test build of the engines and I think they are going to be the most complicated portion to construct.

Side clamps looks delicated and curvy. But patience is a virtue.

Here is the first of the topside engines. I'm not entirely happy with how things came out, so I will be playing with things to make it better. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Thales, that part don't look bad at all. Rounded corner joints are hard to work on, especially the ending one.
Doesn't look possible to move the joints away from the corners, maybe trying to fold the tips a biiit more, and pushing that tips gently with stiletto border while gluing them. Just wandering, this will probably be a step to repeat a few times (in my case, probably more than a few times). Anyway, You can use small sandpaper pieces to "control rebel tips" if there's no printed things at that point. |

At the beginning it's difficult to keep clean and in good shape the parts but with practice all goes well and smooth. However your mastery in design and build is doing a chef-d'oeuvre. Best, Nando

I did another of the topside engines, this time without glue tabs. I like the outcome much better. I'll put tabs in the plans, but encourage people to cut them off if they can hack it.
