Actually, the Johnny 5 robot stands at approximately 6 ft tall. so a 1/6 scale would be closer to 1 foot.

There is a plastic model available direct from Hong Kong that stands between 13-16 inches depending on the posture of his hips and waist joint.

But I vote for a Johnny 5 robot next, also. Not necessarily fully articulated, but maybe a few moving joints?

Beautiful work I look forward to the finished model. I second JohnGay request please would you consider modelling Johnny Five? the design has all the weight in the base track section so should not have a problem in standing up.
