I hope it comes out at a reasonable quality. I fear I may have to go back and redo some of the markings if they look too scraggly.

Can't say based on the picture. Pinup looks a bit tricky to draw due to complexity but other details looks great.

Just take your time There are many tiny decals spread all over the surface if I remember correctly, some of them are pretty hard to make out. There are some great threads on therpf containing useful refs but I haven't looked at them lately so I cannot tell if the pictures are still visible (after the infamous photobucket blackout).

Yes, I'm using a bunch of them for reference. I'll start working on it again this afternoon. I think I'm gong to have to redo the markings on the forward hull just for my own peace of mind.

Yeah, I'm going to have to redo the markings and textures. You can see here how some of the details are all blocky and chunky. I started with too low a resolution on some of them... and I inverted the panel so Miss Piggy is backwards... dur.

You might get the best results by redrawing the texture in a vector program like InkScape or CorelDRAW. That way you would retain the sharpness and clarity of the image and allow lossless resizings.

Yes, I do build most of the pieces in a vector drawing app. That pinup above was from a scan of the decals that went on the plastic version of the model. Cutting and pasting is way less effort than recreating it... if it works.

I am redoing the whole set of markings on the hull, and the quality is much much better now. I hope to have a chunk to show tonight or tomorrow.

I've redone the detail on the bottom and it holds up much better now.

I wrapped up the details on the front bottom hull. And I made good progress on the upper.

NS4 was king enough to share some other textures with me.

And I think this wraps up the topside textures on the main hull.
