Doctor Who Bessie WIP
Yes, there are a number of things that need adjusting and tweaked. Kind of like the car in the show.

I was looking at doing a set of three Who vehicles. Eleventh Doctor's Edsel, Rory's Jag and Bessie.
I started on the Edsel, but the angled back, tail lights and the rounded fin were giving me fits, so I went to the easy one first, Rory's Jag And then I did the Austin Powers Shaguar Once I finish Bessie, I'll try my hand at the Edsel again. If it isn't successful, I might have a go at Prince Harry's Jag, so a set of three Jag's

The bent curved fenders were a nod to Grendelsmother64's Flivvers, Entry: Flivver Early Automobile set. | Cardboard Warriors forum. Used with his blessing, but next version will have curved fenders. Many of the glue-on doo-dads will be printed on. The windscreen is modded from the Sugar Smacks cereal box cut-out, Dr Who Bessie Model Car
It has to be fixed. My fender brackets were too long, so I trimmed them after gluing, and that did not leave enough room for the headlights, so that needs to be fixed. The seats need some adjustment, too, but for a first go, I was pretty satisfied

That is the best Doctor Who Bessie I have seen. Is it a modified version of the one you posted a link or your creation?

Oh, the Sugar Smacks one should be filed under 'Nice Curiosity, but Not Worth Building'. This is 90% mine, and will all be mine on the next go around.
I wish I had taken more care towards the end of this build, but my main goal was to see how close I had gotten with my design with the major components and see what adjustments would need to be made. So when I got down towards the end, I rushed it. Sure it is a WIP, but I should have treated it with more respect

The only other one I found was a cubee version. He also has a Whomobil.
https://www.deviantart.com/mikedaws/...ssie-166358882 As I said yours is the best I have seen. Are you going to make it available when it is finished?

Yep, it was suggested over at the Cardboard Warriors forum, so it will be released there first. I've been working on the Who vehicles project there and at the CutandFold.info forum, so it will be there second, and then I'll make it available here.
I like 'sets', so it won't be released anywhere except CW until I have a third Doctor Who vehicle, probably the Edsel. In my mind, I think I have a solution to the problem areas, but with getting Bessie finalized and getting the Edsel together, I have no idea when it will be EDIT -- incidentally, the total build time on this was about four hours and that was not all at one time. When I turn the printed lanterns and horn into printed on, that will simplify things, too. So it shouldn't be a long build

What's the deal with all these oddball links getting thrown into the posts these days?
'car' in posts #1 and #2 #5, 'fenders', 'sugar', 'box', 'brackets' and 'headlights' #7, 'sugar' and 'components' and post #9, 'lanterns' I noticed this in a couple other threads, too, but figured I would just address it in my own
