Scale Selectors? on paper model plans?

Hi, folks.
On my (cardstock) paper model ship (and tank) plans, I (usually) have my Scale Selector.
It is a given length captioned by what length that will be at various scales ... like 1:600 (which would be twice as long at 1:300 and half as long at 1:1200), 1:500, etc., 1:400, etc.

... so that people can print off my models at whatever scale they choose, within cardstock paper sheet size limits at the larger end and their eyesight and manual skills at the smaller.

Has anyone ever seen anything like this on other paper model plans? Can you give me/us examples?

Tusen takk fra Norge.

I've seen ones that say "if printed correctly this line will be 1 inch, or 2.5cm long" but never one that gives lengths for different scales.

Aaron will gladly send you the files, if you pay him $10 for them.

It is considered bad form to ask for premium or pay models, while many designers share models, and others sell them, it is not proper to ask.

You don't go into a King Sooper's or a Circle K and ask them if they can give you a drink and a candy bar, do you?

Rick

Matthew,

It is also bad form hijacking someone's thread to ask a completely unrelated question, next time ask it in private, or in a thread of the person you are trying to contact.
