The change over of which side the door of the tank opened to might have had something to do with fact that Swedes drove on "wrong" (left like the UK) side of road until 1967, when they switched over to the right side.
The side the rear door hinges were placed on in their respective countries would allow one to open the rear door and step to the side of the road without having to walk around the open door.
I would be interesting to look at rear door of trucks and busses of Sweden and Germany to see which side was hinged: if tank builders were following automotive manufacturing practice.
Did the Swedes make any other change in the German design that might reflect that they drove on the wrong side of road?
