Thank you mcboom. I have these plans. I did not check the first one, but second one (one of the more accurate from publicly available plans) has some mistakes in overall shape mad proportions.

Hello,

You may find that overall shape is shown better on one plan and say the cross sections are better on the other one or even you gonna need to use a photos to get some of the things correct.
I got that with my B-737 and another 'quiet project'.

You may also find the 'other media' model instructions usefull sometimes giving you a bit of clue and photos, photos and even more photos:-)

Anyway, keep it going!
All the best!

Hi Cybermac, I have the same experience. I was lucky to find some Lockheed plans with dimensions. Theese dimensions are in par with photos. Unfortunately there are no dimensions for neceles and they seems to be little different on the plane than on the Lockheed plans.

That is what I am doing now. I create version of the nacele and check against photos, do changes, chech against photos, etc.

Problem with photos is you can not fully trust them. There is lens distortion, croping, maybe other photomanipilations, etc

Comparison of my model with actual plane. Lots of fiddling but I am getting there ... I somebody could get me some measurement I would be gratefull (like nacelle front opening diameter, etc).
