So I basically reworked all the parts. I'll be cutting and gluing some tomorrow. Here's how it stands so far...

Thanks! It will be 1:6 scale. I think I read somewhere that Robby is 7 feet tall and this model will end up about 14 inches tall.

I ran out to Walmart and bought myself a Robby. I just couldn't resist. Oh well, lol. I'll chalk it up to gathering references
Here I have the new hips and feet made. They are much simpler to assemble than the first version.

Good scale!

I'd love to get that toy, too. But the shipping costs are almost as high as the toy itself... Hum...

I just sent a similar size and weight package to Slovenia from Florida and it cost $26 US. So yeah, it would cost more than the robot! But, if someone is willing to Venmo, bank transfer, or purchase a US Amazon card for the cost, I'd go buy one and ship it to you. I was at Walmart this afternoon picking up my new glasses, and I went and fawned over the Iron giant figure. I'm holding off until payday for that one! So they have three each, I guess they are restocking regularly. No shortage yet, lol.

On the paper Robby front, I totally re made the feet and legs again. I was unhappy with my flaps arrangement. Much better now. Regular human beings should be able to assemble them now, lol.

I'm holding off on attaching them to the hips until I see how things balance out up top.

Looks like the scale in my head is almost exactly the scale of the toy Robby. This is totally unplanned, as I had started on the paper version before I purchased the toy version. I didn't have a real scale in mind, except for large enough so I could work with my old hands and fumbly fingers, but small enough to print on standard US letter cardstock.

And speaking of scale, my son bought and installed this display shelf and lights for my birthday last month. You can see Robby is 14 inches, so in comparisn 'ol Nosferatu is a big boy! I don't have a clue what scale he is...

I love coincidences like that! You could transfer the electronics of the toy onto the paper one..!

He must be the biggest because he is the first and oldest of them all! I guess he is 1/4 scale.
