Thanks for the kind words and great ideas! I'll try out a couple different things and see what shakes out. I just finished putting the little bolt heads on it. I'll wait till I get the hoses made before I take any more pics.

So, for the hoses, aluminum wire wrapped in strips of copy paper won out. Here are some pics. You may also notice that I have applied the hex bolt heads in the places where I could see them in my reference images.

Next up...the arm and pincers!!!

I made the arm and pincer. It's not exactly what is there, but as close of an approximation as I could get my fingers to make
That rounds out the whole build. Now to scale it up a bit, and make one to paint.
