Consolidated-Vultee B-32 Dominator
There are three airplanes I want to build, unfortunately only one of them is available as a card paper model. The three subjects in question are the Consolidated PBY4-2 Privateer, the Consolidated-Vultee B-32 Dominator and the Savoia-Marchetti SM-75 Marsupiale. My friend and countryman Wireandpaper provide me with a Privateer (Filibustero) model file. So, only two left for build. Then I begin with the Dominator which WIP is in a very early, crude status by now. I plan to build it at 1/150 scale. Regards, Tony. |

Tony, If you need photos of the Dominator, I have quite a few. Some came from Bill Chana who was a Consolidated tech rep who went with the B-32's when they were sent overseas.

Thank You chaparral2d, I think that with the 3 view drawing is enough. It's not going to be a 1/33 scale or a high tech model. The model is coming, at a slow pace but secure. Best Regards, Tony.

It looks GREAT! I made a huge error in my first post. While I do have a few photos from Bill Channa, he did not go with the B-32's into combat. That was Ralph T. "Lindy" Levine. Mr. Channa, was a Consolidated engineer who was one of the survivors of the crash of the XB-32. Keep up the excellent work!

It's looking good, Tony.
A good resource on the history of the B-32 is William P. Head & James F. Tindle, "The B–32 Dominator Bomber and its Tragic History," Airpower History, Spring 2020 - Volume 67, Number 1:35-43. https://www.afhistory.org/wp-content...With-Cover.pdf Don |
