Well, I would suggest you show off your builds here on the forum as a thank you to the designer, and to encourage him to continue to design models.
Asking for the models is great, but reciprocate the time and talent by showing the built model

I agree, that’s one of my biggest gripes in the hobby (and I must say I was guilty of it as well before I learned to recolor myself)
It seems people just want the file to have the POSSIBILITY of building what they want to build, there’s absolutely no way someone is going to build the same model 20 different times, yet asking for 20 different liveries is still commonplace.
I’d say I’ve never seen 75% of my Recolors built up, but when I do it’s incredibly rewarding.
