Those are nice photos.
Can you tell us something about the two other machines in image number 8?
They also appear to be very well done.
Mike

Hi Michael Mash. I'm in a hurry to answer your question. One model is the H. Zettelmeyer steam roller. The model is my development and my realization in scale 1/25. I presented the model in Paper Modelers in 2011. I hasten to brag that it was a photo from week 49 2011. The second model in the photo was published by MODELIK. The model in the photo is in my performance. Here are some pictures.

Thank god for the POTM, I've almost missed this gem!

Your beautiful design came as quite a surprise to me. I've aquired some knowledge about the Bavarian state railways over the years, and I'm well acquainted to the D II class, but (until right now) I wasn't aware that the these engines ran in also in Bulgaria. And I was even less aware that the first five machines were tactually aken from a production lot that was ordered by the Bavarian state railwas!

I've attached a picture from 1920 of the railway number 2436 (Maffei construction number 2143), one of the 25 locomotives from that very same lot that stayed in Bavaria.

I wonder, whether it would be possible to also publish a "real" Bavarian D II ?
I've noticed a few minor differences (rectangular water tank caps, slightly different lamps, mud guards over the front wheels), which could probably easily ignored. There was also a third rectangular window in the back of the drivers cab, but I don't think that would require new parts, you could add it during the necessary repaint.

Cheers!
Michi

A beautiful, precise piece of work, so well executed. having tried to build a few loco's myself I know the heartache they can cause with construction especially the running gear but you have got it exactly right. Well done, a magnificent piece of railway modeling.
