Yes, the metallic paper adds an interesting effect.

Looking forward to the "out-of-box" version as you called it.

Notes:
I think the tail gear is reversed (backwards) or mounted incorrectly?
It should be trailing back, not forwards..

Main gear may be too short? but the Doors are too long, not over-lapped as they should be.
See the little circle on the lower section of the gear door?
It should be aligned at the wheel center/axle.
You have to separate the door into two parts, then overlap them.
Like in the attached image.

Alright, I see my mistakes now. Thanks for the feedback Dave, I'll be sure to fix those things on the "out of box" build.

Finished "Maj Mac" (For Real, This Time)

Alrighty, got some outdoor pics with the P-47 "Maj Mac" I fixed the stuff with the landing gear. (The tail wheel could not be fixed, it was built right but glued in place wrong) I also added the guns because I completely forgot about those the first time. Enjoy the pics!
