This model is absolutely SPECTACULAR!!! Unbelievable challenge but WOW! I hope many of the 'build' photos and painting tips will be included in the instructions too.

Hi DesignR and all
Thanks for your following my thread. I'm back again after leaving my home for the 3 weeks business trip. I completed the grease box before leaving home. But I didn't take any photos. The one of hard job of this section is 14 grease pipes. They were made by 0.5 mm wire (copper wire from telephone cable or CAT5 cable). They are so thin and easy to be broken if I do careless holding. But after finished painting I feel it's worth to spend a lot of my time on it.
Cheers

Thank you rixtoy. I love this photo of Big Boy. I feel the steam power compressed inside the boiler. Great pic :)

Your design skills and craftsmanship continue to amaze me. You have already surpassed your U-boat and there are still hundreds (?) of parts to go. Thank you for sharing your design and build. I look forward to the eventual publication of this "monster."

Absolutely amazing! A 1/25 scale diecast or plastic manufactured model would never go to this level of detail. In fact, I doubt even a kitbasher/superdetailer would ever go to the greasebox level. I bow before the master!!!
