Hi Kooklik,

As soon as I get the tech who is supposed to print it out for me in the large size printer at work. I don't want to pressure the boy so much that he blows it off. Most of the printing would take place when they change rolls in the printer, have to test it you know.

I converted the PDF files to jpegs so that he could put them up into Photoshop and do the size increase easily. All of the files are on a disc on his desk, I keep moving it to the top of the pile on his desk.

As soon as I get the printouts to make up the parts of the hull, I will start a thread on it's construction.

I have been lirking about following this thread and I must say that this one is definetly gonna be a work of art. I understand what you mean Koolik when you talked about building twice. I feel like that when I build my designs. Can't wait to buy this one. Great work as usual.

Thank you for nice words mldixon. Yes , instruction making is like building the model again for the designers. But I enjoy to look when each box is added to the page. Look again and again for finding out what I've forgotten to render it out. Most pages have errors although I repeat checking many times. Michael covers those errors while he does his test build.

Well , today I have just finished the page 16-18.

Install the exhaust pipe , elbow joint (moving parts) , front run board with its stairs , head lamp and hand rails. I provide parts for modelers who wants to make it illuminate-able. 3 LEDs in the lamp. 1 for the main light other 2 for the side number plates. Modeler may skip it and replace the main LED with a small ball like a pin's head.
Cheers

Hello there
Finally the last instruction page of the Front Engine. Boiler Bearing and Centering Device are move able parts. So some points are 'No Glue!".
After long time I spent to the instruction. Total 19 pages 182 boxes. I will start 3D model detailing soon. Some details from Front Engine are common used with the back engine too. This could help me to do the back engine in shorter time than the front.
Cheers

Kooklik,

When I get the model I think I’ll just frame the instructions they are a work of art.

The LED’s for the head lamp and side markers is inspired this is going to be one superb model.

Hello Jim
I'm happy to know that you like it. The side number plate LED , I copied from the original drawing. But only one lamp for both side in the real one. Lacking of space of the model blocked the light's direction. So I put 2 for both sides.

Michael's test build just has been completed in mostly the same time as the instruction.

Man 1/25th in scale this Big Boy is going to be a monster and I can't wait to see it finshed and working, R you going to place electric motors in it to get the wheels and cranks to work that would be great mate.
