I guess I am impatient. I have been following this post since I joined in January and have not seen any updates. I hope kooklik is not burned out by this build. I am really looking forward to seeing the completed model price of the plans and try to build it myself!!!

Massive undertaking, research of the project, 3d modeling of all the various parts. Unfolding of the parts, building of the unfolded parts to beta test to see if they work, then taking the white model and applying the textures and colors and getting that tweaked and correct, then exploding the model and writing instructions for the assembling. Then laying out the exploded parts on pages for the different scales you intend to release. All this while you are trying to hold down a job, eat, sleep, and feed a family ( family part optional). If you added up the hours and the blood sweat and tears that go into these designs, you would come to realize that most of the models we buy and build and the labors of love of the designers, and of course their addiction to paper modeling, cause I assure you no one who does this, does it for the money.

I know that is why I said I hope he is not burned out by the project. It is mind boggleing to even think of trying to do something so massive IMPRESSIVE. This is a stunning model and to think it is all done out of paper.

Just building some of the models I have downloaded from the net is slow work for me. I started to build Uhu02's Tinkerbell and I have had to do several prints of a page because of a miscut or it didn't look right. It is coming along and I have made an adjustment on the wings which looks like REAL wings on a butterfly or a real pixy...... at least that is what my girlfriend said. Once it is done I will upload a picture and see if anyone asks me on the wings.

On a different note is the ecard model of the U-Boat a legitimate download? I will not buy it if the funds do not go to kooklik. I have read of pilfering of models here and there and it bothers me that some people take advantage of other peoples work.
