These designs are wonderful models, it would be great to try to make them.

Best regards,
Adam.
I think Kooklik himself started the alpha testing on this site.
There is a long thread on the beginnings of the locomotive project.
I could be wrong, but I think Kooklik has health or life issues that have interfered with this project.

The beta build on kartonbau is now being done by someone else.
As you can see it is still uncoloured parts though.

I remember he hadn't finished the parts colouring of the Tender (which was finished many years ago).
As wonderful as this project is...will it ever get completed for public consumption?

And as RichO states, there are three versions of the Uboat available at ecardmodels.com

1/72 Uboat type VII C paper model
1/72 U-Boat Type VII C North Sea Camo Paper Model
1/72 U-Boat Type VII C Attack Tiger Fantasy Camo Paper Model

Well, I would be very interested too and keen to buy, but it's totally quiet since long time for this Model and there are no News since long time as well from Koolik...as well this one Guy who was working on the Testbuilding on the Machine doesn't post anything since long time too...

Slowly I get this feeling that this is the end...but let's see...

Thailand has been in political upheaval since 2013 with a military coup in May 2014. Since then there have been violent widespread demonstrations and a civil war in progress. I suspect that Kooklik's life has had more important issues than paper modeling with which to contend. More info can be found here - Breaking news on Thailand political crisis, 2013-2015 - breakingnews.com

I hope he and his family are well and that order can be restored in his homeland. Until then all we can do is keep him in our thoughts and prayers.

YB, thanks for that. For some reason though he was from South Korea. Thailand has been a mess for the last couple of years.

Adding to that
Kooklik had English as a second language, & lots of google translate.
I have sent him an email or two over the preceeding couple of yrs & not rec'd a reply. Nor a snail mail reply either.

I don't think anyone else at home, knew English to send an email saying he is OK or not, that is assuming that they knew his PW on the computer....
All I can hope for is Kooklik to respond in the future, I know the loco was a pet love of his & he was striving for perfection in it, so a burn out is possible.

How do I know most of this & is it correct? Well I supplied the autocad drwgs etc for the project, & we corresponded a bit.
& if you desperately want a Big-boy, try USA trains they make em in plastic $US6,000, or get a 3d printer & make one

Mods maybe we could temporally close this thread
