Smile some bulkheads on the way

Hello gents!

Haven't been here for a long time, but 737 is not forgotten

Not much I could do without proper drawings and being with two little kids almost all the time, but hey ho I am getting two more bulkheads from the photos.

kind regards

Cybermac

Smile

Hello,

BMI baby - I saw them many times at Manchester Airport, although I really like their 'MBI classic colors'.

Just a bit of update, 3 cross-sections are finally done according to what I could get from photos...

kind regards

Thank you Pete!
The next step will be unfolding them 3 segments and hopefully, I can fit the stabilizer without much hustle.
I hope I will find some time to do that when the kids and a job will be less demanding

Smile Hello to 1/50...

Hello gents,

I have been asked about my 737 project various times and because I am struggling with the time to carry on with 1/36 BIG PROJECT, I decided to dig out the old 1/72 (95% done) and unlarge it to 1/50.

That should save me some time and gray hair

At some point, I will do the new 'B-737 1/33 project' (found new documentation!) but I will try to focus on 1/50 model (together with U-2 and my 'fighter project').

Please see the front part after some corrections, hope you like it.

kind regards

Cybermac

Seems like you've gotten that nose shape very nicely.

Is this the same nose design Boeing used in 707 and 727? It sure looks a lot like it.

Very nice work, and welcome back!!
I don't know if the 737's fuselage has the exact same dimensions, but it's interesting how Boeing made 3 completely different aircraft models based on the same design.

Boeing used the same nose and fuselage cross-section in all three of its (then-current) narrow body jets- 707, 727, and 737 (four, if you count the 720).
